Pawly tail

Hello, it do be Katie Whippet here.  I have broken my tail! I did be doings it at the Vets! Mummy do be takings me to the vets, because I had an eye infection. Which was being stubborn, and would not clear up.  After the vet had been poking around in my eyeball, I was not letting her anywhere near me again, so when she went to lift me down from the examination table, I decided to jump.  I jumped and did be doings banging my tail on the side of he table.  Mummy and the vet were so worried I had hurt my legs, they did not notice my poorly tail. I must have been doings catching it on the side of the table as I came down.  Next day, mummy did be noticing that I do be licking my tail, and do beings takings a look at it.  She sees it being poorly and does be taking be back to the vets! OMD! No! that place is clearly dangerous!

Anyway, we do be seeings a different vet - phew! Who says I had probably broken my tail, but, like ribs and toes in humans, there is not much they can be doings.  So he be putting a huge bandage on it to it do beings protected. 

I was, and still am, very protective of my pawly tail!

If I had been a prize show whippet, the vet said they could straighten it, but Mummy did do sayings, 'No, she has not got the temperament for showing!' How Rude! I am of perfect standing! 

Well, mummy had to take me back to be seeings the vet yet agains, and it was the vet who was there when I did be doings breakings my tail!  I did not be doings goings on the table.  I just let her do looking at it.  She be giving mummy some more dressings to stop me licking.  I managed to be doings escapings without further injury - Phew!

Nowings, I do be having a lump in my tail.  Mummy takes great delight in telling peoples how II did be doings breakings it - which is very rude!   I do not be wanting peoples to be inspecting my tail!  Mummy did try to show a friend my tail, and I did runnings offs!  I do not be wantings any one touching or even lookings at my pawly tail thank you.  I am still very protective!

Hibernation

Ooo, I do be sayings Helloings againings to all our friends out there in twitter and blogging lands.  Katie and I have been in hibernation.  This do be becausings of the chillyness of the weathers of winters, and the fact that everyone feels a bit tired and grumpy when the do beings gettings ups at 6.30am in the dark - to go for walkings.

Puddle Watch!

We do be back on Puddle Watch (Like Crime Watch, only for puddles)

Mummy do beings very lazy and is uploading the photos on to the iPad, so we do being restricted on posting captions with the piccies.

So, we do be explainings heres.

Firstly our walkings do be stoppings because of invasion of Deep Puddle - we could not be gettings around hims, even if we did goings in to the field (which, after yesterday - Ooo, you don't be knowings about yesterdays, do you.......?)

Anyway, we could not get past, so we could not see if imposter puddle do be gettings bigger or not! Wellings, mummy did be havings a bright ideas of goings down the canal path, which do beings slightly higher than the track.

Well, we could not protest too much, because we would not have got a walkings, but we did be havings to be on our leads - which made use very sad!

We could not be seeings much of imposter puddle from the canal, but we did be seeings Little Brother Puddle - He trying to take over - and compete with Muddy Puddle at the moment.

But, Muddy Puddle, is back under Muddle Ocean - again! but this times, the canal and the river have joined in - so we stood and stared, quite astonished, because, Derwent river was joining in to the canal too.

Mummy do be sayings that I had better do explainings about What Grace Puppy Pants did yesterdayings. She did doing chasing a squirrel monster - she did do chasings over a huge fence into a field, near to where long puddle is - and she did not be doings comings back! I one point, I did do thinkings that I might have to be very proud of her because we did be thinkings she had got the squirrel monster - but, no, we do thinkings she did do playings with it - then lettings it go again. Anyway, she did do it more runnings around in the middle of a big field. Mummy did do opening two gates and we did walkings across a field, that, two weeks ago was under Muddle Ocean!

We did do catching Grace Puppy, who had been rolling in the mud and looked like she had been dragged through a hedge backwards - which she probably had. She did be very high - and bouncing about like a loon! Needless to be sayings, she was on her leadings all the way back - I on the other paw was allowed off - Hehehe!

We did also be seeings how high the flood water did be goings, by the stuff it deposited on the fence near the rivers!
We did be seeing a swan on the canal, he did be doing hissing at us! Mummy wanted to be knowings what he did say, but, we could not possibly repeat - #Rude!

Rude, Rude, Rude! & More Rude

Ooo, we do being very exciteds, because todayings Mummy do being ables to takes us proper walkings.  Mummy do be havings very poorly shoulder due to a #bollard jumping outs in fronts of her bicycle when comings homes from doing workings. (We don't believe #bollards can move, so we think she wasn't lookings where she do be goings, we do be asking the bike but he is not saying anythings, which is Rude, who's side is he on?).

Firstly, we did not be doings photos of imposter puddle, because he has had all the publicity he needs, and if he gets too much attention, he might keep coming back - which is very Rude.

But, due to the rain we did be havings over last Fridays, Little Brother Puddle has been doing escapings!

Long Puddle is a bit boring now, because he is not as long, so we gave him a miss, but, we did be havings to do walkings down the canal bank to get past him, as he is still quite long and still quite deep in places!

Well, whens we gets to where we needed to be - Muddy Puddle, we find he is doings hidings again under Muddle Ocean - we do be thinkings agains - how Rude!

So, we do be thinkings, maybe we do be goings to see how high the river is, but, no, muddle ocean has cut off the path, and in collusion with the canal, who is usually quite well behaved - he as decided to do escapings too! This too is Rude!

This all be very good, but she did not be doings any photos of me or Katie Whippet - so I did be doings whinings, because I was on the leadings, (please be noting - Rude!) because of the Swans - Katie did trottings off because she did not be doing walkings on the leads, because she be too lazy to be chasings swans!
